October 2026 | Issue #004
Hi <<FIRST_NAME_OF_SUBSCRIBER>>,
One quick change before we dive in.
Starting this month, The YouEvangelized Report is going out twice a month instead of once — on the first and third Thursday, same 6 a.m.
Here's why. When I only wrote once a month, a lot of what I wanted to tell you had to get cut. And honestly, a whole lot happens in 30 days. Twice a month means shorter emails, more real stories, and more practical help you can actually use.
Nothing else changes. Same voice, same heart, same goal: helping you get braver about sharing Jesus. If twice a month is one email too many, the unsubscribe link is always at the bottom and I won't take it personally.
Thank you to everyone who told me what makes sharing your faith hard. I read every answer. One thing came up again and again, so let's talk about it.
Heartfelt Encouragement: Family Is Easy. Strangers Are Hard.
Many of you said you can talk about Jesus with your family and close friends. But strangers? That's a different story. A few of you said it's easier online, where you can hide behind a screen. (Guilty.)
I get it. I'm naturally shy around people I don't know. When I taught my first evangelism class, I was nervous. God gave me peace anyway. And after decades of witnessing, I still get nervous when I walk up to someone.
Here's what surprised me. I used to think sharing with friends and family would be easier. Then I started doing both. Honestly? Strangers were often easier. They don't know me, and they may never see me again. Many were more willing to open up. There's no relationship to lose.
That doesn't mean you have to start there. But if strangers scare you, you're not weak. You're normal. You don't need a new personality. You just need to show up nervous anyway.

One Practical Tip: Say Hello, Then Ask One Question
This week, say hello to one person you don't know. Then ask one simple question.
Smile. Say hello. Then ask something easy, like "How's your day going?" And really listen. You're not preaching. You're just being kind. It gets easier each time.
If you carry gospel tracts, hand one over with a smile and ask, "Did you get one of these?" It starts a conversation, and it gives you something to say when your mind goes blank. If you don't, the hello works fine on its own.
Worst case, they say "no thanks." You'll survive. (I did.)
Comments? Ideas? Feedback?

Simply hit "Reply" and tell me what's hardest for you right now when it comes to sharing your faith. Your answer could shape a future issue. And let me know how I can pray for you or your outreach efforts. Let's stay committed in the work together.
In Christ,
Brad St. Clair
P.S. You don't have to feel bold. Your hands can shake, and the hello can still happen.
