One afternoon, I took a class to Park Central Square in downtown Springfield, MO.

One of the men walked up to a complete stranger, said hello, and handed her a Million Dollar Bill gospel tract.

He told her it was a gospel tract and asked if she had a Christian background. She answered right away — no offense taken at all.

He asked if she went to church, and that opened the door to talk more about Jesus.

Afterward, he told me, "It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be." Then he wanted to go talk to someone else.

My Journey, Then and Now

My own evangelism journey started in 2004 with gospel tracts, street witnessing, and open-air preaching — and I still believe in that boldness.

But over the years, God grew me toward something broader: being ready wherever I am — at work, at the gas station, with a neighbor — to have an honest conversation about Jesus.

That shift is exactly why I rebranded to YouEvangelized.
