By Brad St. Clair, Evangelism Coach
I still remember the first time I walked up to a total stranger to talk about Jesus. My heart was pounding. Part of me didn’t want to do it. My hands were sweaty.
I had a whole speech planned in my head, and as I was walking up to the person, I almost forgot everything I'd memorized.
I did it anyway.
Nothing bad happened. Nobody yelled. Nobody laughed. I have to admit, the conversation was not as smooth as I had hoped, but I walked away thinking, "I can do this again."
That moment — awkward, nervous, and obedient — is the reason YouEvangelized exists.
Most Christians believe sharing their faith matters. Almost none of us feel ready to do it.
We've all sat through sermons on the Great Commission.
That's just the name for Jesus' command in Matthew 28 to go and make disciples — to tell people about Him, baptize them, and help them grow as His followers.
And we've walked out still not knowing what to actually say.
Not to our neighbor. Not to our coworker. Not to the person next to us in line at the grocery store.
The gap between "I know I should" and "I don't know how" (or "I’m scared") is where most believers get stuck.
Not because they don't love Jesus. Not because they don't care about people. They just don't have a starting place.
I built YouEvangelized to be that starting place.
18 Jesus came and told his disciples, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.
19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
— Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT)
YouEvangelized exists to help everyday believers move from nervous silence to confident conversations about Jesus.
I do that through practical, Bible-based training — not theory, not by guilt-tripping you, just real tools you can use the next time God puts someone in your path.
I want to help you step outside your comfort zone, because that's where real conversations happen — and where you get to watch God work through you, nerves and all.
And I want to help you share Christ with your whole life — what you say and how you live — at home, at work, and everywhere in between.
Here's what we're aiming at: a whole community of believers who aren't afraid to talk about Jesus anymore.
Not a handful of "evangelism people." Not just the pastors and the believers with bold personalities.
All of us — ordinary believers, trained and equipped, sharing the gospel with the people right in front of us, even when our stomach is still in knots.
That's the movement we’re building, one nervous first conversation at a time — then the next one, and the next — until you can do this with confidence.
From Fear to Witness.
Get confident.
Love others. Share Jesus.
That's not just a slogan. That's the whole point. Fear is where almost everyone starts.
It's not where you have to stay.
None of this works if it just stays on a website page. We need to make it active. So here's the plan:
Want the official version to share with your church or team? Here it is:

You don't need a seminary degree, a script, or a personality transplant to be a witness for Christ. You need a first conversation — the awkward one, the one where your voice shakes a little.
Have that conversation. Then have another one. That's how every bold witness you've ever admired got started.
