The burden for lost loved ones is heavy, but fear doesn't have to stop you from sharing the Gospel

You want to share Jesus with your friends and family—but you feel stuck because you're so afraid. The fear seems to win every time.

You want to start the conversation, but your mouth stays shut when it matters most. It’s hard to speak up when your heart is racing.

Deep down, you know your friends and family need the Lord.

You worry about where they will go when they die, and that heavy thought stays on your mind.

You just want them to be safe in God’s hands. They can have His peace and love, and spend eternity in heaven.

You feel you must do something to change this.

You believe in Jesus, but the right words aren’t there. Explaining your faith sometimes feels overwhelming.

What if they ask questions you can't answer?

Will you feel foolish or embarrassed?

You don't want to come across as pushy or an oddball. You don't want to be thought of as being judgmental.

Could it start an argument? What if you push them away? They might reject the message, or worse—laugh at you.

The perfect moment to share with your loved ones stays just out of reach. Your waiting turns into inaction and then you never get around to it.

What is Evangelism? (It's Not What You May Think)

When you hear the word "evangelism," you might be thinking of street preachers with megaphones or awkward arguments with strangers.

Technically, the definition is simply "proclaiming the Good News about Jesus."

There isn't anything about the word, "proclaiming" that should worry us. It basically means:

Sharing
Telling
Spreading
Letting others know
Speaking about
Making known

We can all do it. Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, it's His life, death, and resurrection- so others can know, trust, and follow Him.

There is a lot more to unpack regarding the definition of evangelism and it's full meaning. I'll get around to writing about it as soon as I can.

Biblical Courage for Personal Evangelism

Satan tries to keep us from the task that Jesus has for us by using fear and doubt.

Fear is not from God. We can share the gospel with confidence, courage, and a heart full of love for those who need Jesus.

Why My Approach to Evangelism Is Different

If you’re like me, maybe you’ve visited other evangelism websites. They gave you theory.

They quoted scripture or talked over your head. But they didn't really show you HOW. They didn't address your real fears.

I'm different. I've been where you are. I froze up too. I worried about looking foolish (I still do sometimes).

But I learned how to share my faith. Now I teach others to do the same.
